Real Wedding: Jenny + Drew

As a follow up to this Inspiration to Reality teaser – I thought you deserved to see how the dreamy day really came together.

The couple was gifted a beautiful mid-October day. There was a crisp and fresh note to the air as guests arrived at St. Chrysostom’s Church for the ceremony. Nestled on a residential block in the heart of the Gold Coast, the church opens up to a beautiful courtyard that seemed built to perfection, for a dramatic Grand Exit.

During the ceremony, we hung the church doors with greenery wreaths, complete with the couple’s married monogram.

And as friends and family of the newlyweds poured out of the church doors, each snuck fistfuls of bold fuchsia petals to shower the glowing couple as they departed.

Guests arrived to The History Museum for a cocktail hour held (cozily) indoors in Robinson Gallery. The escort card table featured a floor-length sequin linen, blue china vases with bundles of fuchsia garden roses and spray roses, and a collection of special photos of family members on their wedding day, captured years prior.

Crisp white linens and white chiavari chairs were paired with whimsical navy and white striped chair cushions and darling lacquered urns of boxwood spheres.

The bridesmaids’ bouquets were collected at the start of the cocktail hour (free hands for bubbles and bites!). They were composed of fuchsia garden and spray roses bound by navy and white striped grosgrain ribbons.

The low centerpieces were designed in oblong white ceramic vases and also featured a lush mound of monochromatic fuchsia roses.

Alternating centerpieces gave the room dimension and volume. The elevated centerpieces were composed of an oversized tailored burst of foliage, accented at the base by (faux) candlelight and petite floral arrangements.

The cake was especially delicious…baked by the bride’s (and the wedding planner’s!) favorite bakery in town – Sweet Mandy B’s.

The ceremony altar arrangements also got double-use as pretty focal pieces at the reception.

The couple dined with darling, special flatware.

Once the escort card table had been cleared, we loaded the shimmering sequins with platters of sweet treats, bowls of candies and lollies and sacks of cotton candy.

Bliss wishes them continued best wishes and SO MUCH LOVE!!  [/vc_column_text][vc_column_text]
