The time has come to finally tell you all about the most amazing project Kara and I were so lucky to work on with some of the best vendors in the City.

The Fairytale

The Fairytale begins with a bride, as most stories do. In this vision though, blue cotton candy grows on trees, pink tutus adorn pirouetting ballerinas, and white candles fervently flicker as she dreams about her wedding.

An avant-garde yet whimsical interpretation of a woman’s evolution into a bride, The Fairytale is an experimental project by Reveal Collaboration that explores the artistic convergence between photography and events. With the Grainger Ballroom in the Chicago Symphony Center as their backdrop, three Chicago industry professionals partnered to create a surreal and artistic imagination of a wedding.

Driven by the unique opportunity to create without limitations, Jeremy Bustos (Studio This Is), Jesse Deckard (Event Creative), and Renny Pedersen  & Kara Superfine (Bliss Weddings & Events) turned a visual idea into an inventive yet practical plan. The result is The Fairytale by Reveal Collaboration, a showcase for pure creativity and inspiring partnerships.

It was fun to be quoted in the Chicago Tribune about the Pae White Installation at the Chicago Art Institute’s Modern Wing.

One of Kara’s beautiful weddings at the Hindsdale Golf Club was featured on Elizabeth Anne Designs blog.    It is all so soft, dreamy and romantic.   The color palatte is so charming and comfortable.

Meet Lovely Katie and Cherian.  Not only are the both stunning, they are  one of the nicest, coolest couples we have ever worked with. We were in love with them and loved every minute we worked together on their Labor Day wedding at the beautiful Drake Hotel.

We used classic white and green with accents of a deep blue purple and gold.  The amazing photographer was Olivia Leigh Photographie.  We wanted a fun exit from the church so we used oversized white pearlized balloons.  Such a fun and unexpected exit. The guests loved it!

Katie wanted a classic look with a modern twist. Huge gorgeous palm fronds in feminine glass vases were set on every other table while the other tables incorporated an Indian pookalam design out of botanic elements and votive candles.  The tables glowed!  You will see the pookalam design carried through their amazing invites designed by Katie and her maid of honor and all the printables.

We sweoon over this wedding.  So dreamy!

More Pictures from Amanda & Bill’s crisp summery wedding at the River East Art Center.  So dreamy!  Can we do it all again??

It has been a busy but amazing summer!  i can’t believe it is almost the holidays!  Where has this year gone?

I have to share with you all a fabulous wedding we did for an amazing couple at the River East Art Center. We not only LOVED our couple, Amanda & Bill – but we LOVED their families.

The colors were a fresh turquoise, apple green and white.  So clean and crisp and modern.  I absolutely love these colors. Especially for a summer wedding.   I am actually a bit obsessed.

The girls wore darling apple green cocktail length dresses  with fabulous silver strappy Jimmy Choos!. The men wore super cool  grey suits and the groom wore an apple green tie.  So happy the men didn’t wear black for once!  The bride wore CUSTOM  chartreuse Manolo Blahnik’s that we were and still are completely gaga over.

From the hors d’oeuvres, to the Flawless cake, to the custom, to the amazing centerpieces, to the special Beer Tasting bar we surprised the groom with, the details were so much fun to design and bring to life.   Enjoy!
