What is your idea of perfect happiness?
A party at my house in my garden (or on a beach….either one is pure happiness) with my friends and family. Drinks flowing. Kids running around laughing. Bottles of empty wine on a big long farm table. Family style platters of food passed around the table. Strings of café lights stretch across the yard. Lanterns filled with chunky candles. No one wants to leave. Warm summer night.

What is your motto?
“If your dreams don’t scare you, they aren’t big enough”
“Think outside the box”, “Carpe Diem” (My mom has that phrase hanging over a window in her kitchen and think about it everyday)
What is your most treasured possession?
My mom’s paintings. A pink glitter jacket my mom made in the 60’s. Bliss Weddings & Events.
What is your most marked characteristic?
Not following anyone else’s lead. Setting my own path. Realizing my own visions and dreams and making them happen. Having fun practically anywhere.
Who is your present hero?
Martha Stewart. She can take one thing…either a food or craft or décor and turn it into 6 different things. I am in awe of her tenacity and gumption and ability to keep recreating herself and brand.
What is your MUST HAVE for a celebration?
Great friends and family. Laughter…belly hurting laughter and lots of it. Anyone willing to let their hair down and shake it up a bit. Candles. Gorgeous flowers. Incredible and interesting food. Lots of fun hand shaken cocktails. Pretty china and linens. Spirited and soulful music and BEING YOURSELF and possessing your OWN STYLE.

As young as ten years old, Renny conceptualized and executed her first venture, the “RenCare SkinCare” product line. Her ease of ambition quickly synced with her eye for design, surrounded by the colorful swatches, fabric textures and design boards of her mother’s successful interior design business -- of which she would later partner in.
Enamored by all the arts, her creative aspirations expanded into cuisine. Following culinary school, she continued to “think big” catering high-end events for 10 to 10,000 guests. This led to a position working for the biggest event planning company in Chicago, orchestrating the city’s largest corporate events and most prestigious social soirees.
One specific event, however, would become the single most important of Renny’s life--planning and designing her own dream wedding. It was then that Renny realized she had found her perfect fit. Since then, Renny and her team of top-notch, creative talent have designed hundreds of the highest caliber weddings and events in Chicago and beyond.
After twenty years establishing industry relationships with respected vendors of all levels, she also launched sister event planning company, Wrap-it-up. With its "à la carte" approach, Renny is now able to expand her services and scope to a larger array of event and party planning needs.
